British Mezzo-Soprano, Tabitha Reynolds is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music (BMus Honors) and Master of Arts in performance (Distinction) where she studied on scholarship with Yvonne Howard, Julie Kennard and Iain Ledingham. During her time at RAM she was awarded the Isobel May Walton scholarship, Rhoda Jones Roberts scholarship, the Josephine Baker Trust and the Marylebone Educational Foundation Grant.

Operatic engagements include Dido and Aeneas (Dido) in Chipping Campden Festival, The Elixir of Love (Chorus) and Tosca (Chorus) with Nevill Holt Opera, Die Zauberflöte (Chorus), Il Trovatore (Chorus) and Alfonso und Estrella (Chorus) with Opéra de Baugé.

During her time at RAM she has performed in L’enfant et les sortileges (Maman), Ariodante (Chorus), Suor Angelica (Chorus) and Le Nozze di Figaro (Chorus). In October she will be performing with Bergen National Opera in Sweeney Todd (Chorus).

Tabitha has also performed opera scenes in the Festival Camogli (Italy) on the RAM tour from Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) and Idomeneo (Idamante); as well as Ariadne auf Naxos (Dryad), La Cenerentola (Cenerentola) and Béatrice et Bénédict (Ursule) in the RAM/RAO opera scenes. Tabitha has participated in masterclasses with Felicity Lott, Susan Bullock, Kathryn Harries and British Youth Opera.

On the concert platform Tabitha was a soloist in the Kohn Foundation Bach Cantata series, and has performed at venues including La Madeleine and Notre Dame (Paris); St Michaelis Cathedral (Hamburg) and St Paul Within the Walls (Rome), Wigmore Hall and St John’s Smith Square. She enjoys performing a wide variety of choral works including, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater and Bach’s St John Passion. In November she will be performing Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with St Neots Choral Society.
